Strawberry Lemonade

1 can frozen lemonade drink mix
8 oz frozen strawberries, sugar added

In a blender, blend strawberries until smooth.  In a pitcher, combine blended strawberries, container of lemonade, and 3 and 1/3 containers of water.  (The lemonade package says 4 and 1/3, but I only add 3 and 1/3)  Stir until well mixed.

To serve, put a tablespoon of lemon juice in a small bowl.  In a separate bowl, place 1/4 c sugar.  Dip the top rim of glasses into lemon juice, then immediately into sugar.  Repeat if necessary.  Allow sugar to dry for a few minutes.  Then, pour in the lemonade and enjoy!

  1. Amy,
I just had to laugh when I saw the Strawberry Lemonade title of your blog because the first thing that came to mind was: 1-get in car with grocery money, 2- drive to town grocery store, 3- locate Country Time Strawberry Lemonade, 4- pay for it and drive home, 5- read directions on back of container and follow, 6- enjoy. hehehe
Strawberry lemonade is one of our favorites in the summer! :) Your recipe sounds really yummy. I'll have to try it that way next summer. :)

  2. That's funny. Well, that's always a good alternative. Easy too! But not quite as good as this recipe! Enjoy!
