Apple Pie





1 Pie Crust

Filling:
Apples
2/3 c brown sugar
1/8 t salt
1 T cornstarch
1/4 t cinnamon
1/8 t nutmeg
1 t vanilla

Mix together and put into pie crust.

Topping:
5 T butter
1/2 c sugar
1/2-3/4 c flour
1 t cinnamon

Mix topping with pastry blender.  Sprinkle over pie.  Bake at 375 for 45 minutes or less.  Put foil over edges of the pie to prevent burning of crust.
