This Recipe is courtesy of Stephanie Wright:
2 sleeves of graham crackers
1 cup peanut butter
2 pkg chocolate pudding
4 cups milk
1 container cool whip
Smash the graham crackers. Melt 1 cup of peanut butter in the microwave and mix in with the graham cracker crumbs to make the crust. Mix together and pat down in the bottom of a 9x13 pan. Make the Chocolate pudding with 4 cups of milk. In the same bowl you mixed it in, set in the frig but ONLY for 2 minute to thicken it up....do not let it sit in the frig any longer than that or it will mold to the shape of the bowl instead of the shape of your pan. Then pour into the pan on top of the graham cracker crust. Let harden the rest of the way. Top with the cool whip only a little before it's time to eat!
This is a collection of my favorite recipes from growing up, family, friends, and from my favorite magazines and websites. Some are tried and true, and some are still on my to-do list.

Frog Cupcakes
These are the cupcakes I made for Josh's birthday.
1. Make 24 chocolate cupcakes as directed on cake mix box.
2. Use decorator's icing, or buttercream frosting. Use Wilton food coloring for best results. The cheap stuff make change the consistency of your frosting. Try adding more powdered sugar if that happens.
3. Frost cupcakes. You can use frosting tips and bags like I did, or just spread it on as pictured above.
4. For the eyes, use Wilton candy melts, or I found Almond Bark wafers (Gurley brand) at Fareway for half the price. Attach chocolate chips in the middle of the wafer using frosting. (or believe it or not, I just got the bottom of the chocolate chip wet and stuck it on there. 4-5 fell off when I put them on the cupcakes, but they go back on easy)
5. Insert finished wafers into the cupcake. Use frosting to create a mouth and tounge if desired.

Decorators Icing
If you want a reliable frosting that will hold up, and tastes great, this is your frosting. It won't have the buttercream flavor, but it's a good substitute. I've never had problems with it melting.
This is the recipe my mom uses for all her wedding cakes:
3/4 bag powdered sugar
3/4 c crisco
dash salt
1 t vanilla flavoring
1 t almond flavoring
1-4 T milk (use as much as desire to get the consistency you want)
Mix all ingredients together. To thicken, add more powdered sugar, to thin, add more milk.
Use star frosting tips:
And a frosting bag:
for easy decorating. You can get these at Hobby Lobby, or Michaels. Go to the Wilton website for instructions on how to use and fill the frosting bags. They also have other tips on decorating techniques. Save money by making your own birthday cakes!

Chocolate Buttercream Frosting
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup solid vegetable shortening
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, softened
- 3/4 cup cocoa or three 1 oz. unsweetened chocolate squares, melted
- 1 teaspoon clear vanilla extract
- 4 cups sifted confectioners' sugar (approximately 1 lb.)
- 3-4 tablespoons milk
instructions
Stiff Consistency: In large bowl, cream shortening and butter with electric mixer. Add cocoa and vanilla. Gradually add sugar, one cup at a time, beating well on medium speed. Mocha Latte
This recipe is not for the coffee conosur. It's just something I enjoy to save money. It's pretty close to the real thing.
1/4 c strong coffee, hot
warm milk-enough to fill your coffee cup the rest of the way (you can use chocolate milk)
**I just warm my milk in the microwave.
chocolate syrup, to taste (or caramel if you rather)
I always make this recipe with chocolate syrup because that's how the coffee houses make it. But if you want a richer chocolate flavor, try chocolate milk.

Homemade Frappuccinos
Chocolate Ice Cream or Chocolate Milk
1/4 c Strong Coffee, cooled
Caramel Syrup
Ice Cubes
Whipped Topping (Optional)
Using the cup you will serve the drink in, fill the cup/glass 2/3 full with ice. Put ice in blender, followed by coffee, Caramel Syrup (as much as desired) then about 4 scoops of ice cream. If using chocolate milk, use 3/4 cup of ice, and add more ice to reach desired consistency. Blend thoroughly until all ice is crushed. It may take a few minutes. Add more ice or milk to reach desired consistency. To sweeten flavor, add more caramel syrup. Top with whipped topping and drizzle with syrup for a perfect treat.
*It is important to use caramel syrup, not chocolate, otherwise your flavor will be syrupy. You can use vanilla ice cream or white milk to make only a caramel Mocha. The Caramel add the right amount of sweetness without destroying the rich chocolate flavor.
*To get the right chocolate flavor, it is important to use chocolate milk or ice cream.

Grease a large mixing bowl and 9x13 pan. In the greased large mixing bowl, microwave butter and large marshmallows for 3 minutes, stirring every minute, or until melted. Mix in Golden Grahams until well coated with marshmallow mixture, let cool for a couple of minutes (otherwise chocolate chips will melt when stirred in). Ranger Cookies
I believe these are the cookies I was making when I got saved! We were right in the middle of the batch when I decided to accept Christ. Praise the Lord!
1 c Marg
1 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
2 eggs
1 t vanilla
2 c flour
1 t baking soda
1/2 t baking powder
1/2 t salt
2 c oatmeal
2 c rice krispies
1 c coconut
1 c chocolate chips
(And if you like raisins or dried fruit, you can add a cup of that. But I don't, so don't add it if you're making them for me) :)
Cream together marg and sugars. Add vanilla, baking powder, baking soda and salt. When combined, add flour gradually. In a seperate bowl, combine oatmeal, rice krispies, coconut and chocolate chips. Slowly add these ingredients to cookie dough and mix only until it's all incorporated.
Bake cookies at 375 for 8-10 minutes.
We usually freeze whatever we won't eat that week, or sometimes I'll scoop the dough as I would to bake it, and put it in a tupperware and freeze it. This way I can make them fresh a few at a time, or when company shows up.
This makes a big batch. If you double it, it will not fit into a kitchen aid mixer. (I learned that the hard way!)

Waffles...and Ice Cream!
Waffles:
1-3/4 c flour
2 T sugar
1 T baking powder
1/2 t salt
2 eggs
1-3/4 c milk
1/2 c veg oil
1 t vanilla
In medium bowl, mix all dry ingredients. Make a "well" in the center of the mixure. Set aside. Mix together all wet ingredients. Add egg mixture all at once to flour mixture. Stir JUST UNTIL MOISTENED. (Batter should be lumpy, do not overstir) Pour 1 to 1-1/4 c of batter onto waffle maker.
Now for the real food... The version we always had growing up:
Waffles with Chocolate Chips and Ice Cream on top!
So Yummy! We had this a lot for Birthday Breakfasts, and just for fun. (Especially when we had friends over)
Use same recipe as above.
Right after pouring batter into waffle maker, sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over waffle batter. Close lid and cook as directed. Once waffles are done, serve with Ice Cream on top! It's best to get a single flavor ice cream. The fancy ones don't go as well.
I always made a sandwich out of my waffles and ice cream, but the ice cream melts eventually, so now I just have the ice cream on the side and put a little on each bite.
My dad had this for supper on Sunday nights as a kid, and we just had it any time mom made waffles. Try it!

Homemade Noodles
2 c flour
3 egg yolks
1 egg
2 t salt
1/4 to 1/2 c water
Put flour in bowl and make "well" for egg, yolks, and salt. Mix together, and add water 1 T at a time until dough forms into a ball.
Turn dough onto well foured cloth covered board. Knead until smooth and elastic.(10 minutes). Let rest 10 minutes.
Divide dough into 4 parts. Roll dough 1 part at a time into paper thin rectangle (sometimes I like them a little thicker than this). Keep remaining dough covered. Cut rolled dough into strips. Separate strips and place them on towel to dry for 2 hours. When dry, break into smaller pieces and cook in chicken broth 12-15 minutes or until tender. Add these to your favorite chicken noodle soup recipe for a real treat! Or thicken the broth and serve over mashed potatoes.
